Webinar Recording: Home for the Holidays

Navigating Your Teen’s Return from College

There are plenty of resources about navigating your teen’s transition to college. But what about the other transition – coming back? School breaks are a time for family togetherness, but it can also bring unexpected surprises due to your teenager’s new experiences. In this webinar, Drs. Anne Marie Albano and Sarah Olivo, discuss the challenges of a teen’s return home from college, given their newfound independence.

You might wonder, “Are the house rules the same? Did they struggle during their past semester? Should I ask questions about it? Can I handle the answers?”

With years of clinical experience working with teenagers and young adults, Anne Marie and Sarah have advised hundreds of students and families through reunions. In short, they’ve seen it all.

During this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • The most common reunion challenges families encounter
  • Strategies to balance conflicting parent and teen priorities
  • Advice for effective communication and support if problems arise
