Guided by the belief that “If dreams don’t scare you, they are too small to follow,” I strive to take on transformative challenges that shape the future of technology and drive meaningful progress.
Chandani Bhagat brings over 14 years of transformative experience in engineering leadership, product architecture, and applied AI across healthcare, IoT, and enterprise systems. Since stepping into the world of technology in 2011, she has led a career grounded in innovation, purpose, and a relentless drive to create systems that serve people—not just processes.
From building data platforms during the early days of IoT to designing AI-enabled healthcare solutions that impact lives, Chandani’s work lives at the intersection of vision and execution. She has built and led high-performing teams from the ground up—including cloud engineers, DevOps architects, data scientists, and ML practitioners—scaling both the systems and the people behind them. Her management style combines technical mentorship, strong process governance, and strategic alignment with business goals, making her an invaluable leader for growing organizations.
Between 2017 and 2024, she played a critical role at VOLANSYS, where she led architecture efforts for distributed systems, real-time analytics platforms, and cloud-native modernization initiatives. She managed and mentored globally distributed engineering teams, while delivering secure, scalable, and cost-optimized systems across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
Chandani’s collaboration with Lumate Health began—initially as a Product Manager & Architect, and now includes work on the broader strategy to find avenues to scale both the clinical care and the client experience. At Lumate, she has been instrumental in designing and leading the architecture of the organization’s digital care platforms. Her work underpins core functions such as patient intake, diagnosis, telehealth, consent, scheduling, billing, real-time analytics and Artificial Intelegance (AI) —all HIPAA-compliant, scalable, and tailored to support clinician workflows and family engagement.
Her expertise spans the design and implementation of secure cloud infrastructure, FHIR-compatible data models, AI-powered diagnostic aids, and clinician-centric dashboards. She thrives on turning complexity into clarity, enabling real-time insight and long-term strategic value. She also led the creation of smart operational dashboards and AI PoCs, transforming Lumate’s ability to support clinicians and executives with data-driven decision-making.
Chandani’s leadership has not only fueled operational excellence at Lumate but also helped cut onboarding and scheduling time, increase care team efficiency, and power board-level strategic insights through dynamic data storytelling.
Throughout her journey, she has served as a trusted advisor to startups and enterprise clients, and her innovation has been recognized at forums like the Open Compute Project (OCP) Summit. Still, her most meaningful work lies in building systems that uplift people. At Lumate, that means helping children and families thrive through thoughtful, compassionate technology.
