Ana’s passion for working with young people and their families began during her undergraduate studies at Quinnipiac University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. Through coursework and internships, she gained a deep understanding of child development and the importance of early intervention in supporting mental health. Driven by her desire to make a positive impact, Ana pursued a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families at the University of Southern California (USC). USC provided her with a comprehensive education in evidenced-based therapeutic techniques and a solid foundation in understanding the unique challenges faced by young individuals and their families.
Throughout her career, Ana has worked in diverse clinical settings, including pediatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and residential treatment programs. She has collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to her client’s care. Ana’s expertise lies in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, ADHD, and behavioral challenges.
